Cork City Marathon
The Project
Aerial was contracted by Davis Event to capture high-resolution aerial imagery of the Cork City Marathon, operating from several locations across Cork City. The shoot was designed to record the scale, energy, and setting of the marathon route, participants, and city landmarks. Key challenges included synchronizing flights with race timing, ensuring wide coverage of course sections, and managing aerial logistics in urban environments.
The goal was to produce visuals that would serve promotional material for future marathons, with both stills and video footage that showcase the event’s vibrancy and place.

The assets provide dynamic perspectives and striking visuals, combining both broad context shots and detailed captures of the event’s key moments. These visuals are now in hand for future promotional work, giving Davis Event strong material for building awareness, excitement, and connection to Cork’s character.
