CASE STUDY
Dublin Airport Authority
The Project
The Dublin Airport Authority commissioned us to capture aerial footage of the Terminal 1 surrounds for use in a promotional video showcasing the proposed Dublin Airport Central development. Operating in one of the most sensitive and tightly controlled airspaces in Ireland, the project demanded meticulous planning, coordination, and full regulatory compliance.
Our role was to deliver high-quality drone footage that could be seamlessly integrated into CGI visualisations, helping stakeholders visualise the scale and ambition of the development.
Project Overview
Client: Dublin Airport Authority
Location: Dublin Airport
Purpose: 4K aerial video footage to support CGI footage for the Dublin Airport Central development
The Results
We became one of the first operators ever to fly a drone at Dublin Airport, securing permissions from the Irish Aviation Authority, Dublin Air Traffic Control, and Dublin Airport Police. This achievement demonstrated both our technical expertise and our ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
The aerial imagery we captured provided a precise and visually compelling foundation for the CGI team, ensuring that the development’s vision was brought to life in a realistic context. The material was used to highlight the potential of Dublin Airport Central, helping the Dublin Airport Authority communicate the scale, connectivity, and commercial appeal of the project to investors and stakeholders.
By combining aerial filming skills with rigorous safety and compliance protocols, we set a benchmark for professional drone operations in high-security environments, while delivering striking visuals that directly supported one of Ireland’s most ambitious commercial property initiatives.
