Greenlink / AIB
The Project
Over a two-year period, we worked closely with Greenlink Interconnector to capture the development of one of Ireland’s most significant energy infrastructure projects — the undersea electricity cable linking Wales to Ireland. Our role was to comprehensively document the project’s progress, combining aerial drone footage, on-the-ground videography, photography, and audio capture.
As part of the final deliverable, we also filmed interviews with the CEO of Greenlink and the Managing Director Climate Capital at AIB, highlighting the importance of sustainable investment in major infrastructure.

The Results
The final video premiered at the AIB Sustainability Conference, where it served as a powerful showcase of the Greenlink project and AIB’s role in supporting sustainable infrastructure. By combining dramatic aerial shots of the cable route with detailed progress footage, the film captured both the scale and the precision of the engineering effort. The inclusion of executive interviews added credibility and context, reinforcing the project’s importance to Ireland’s future energy security.
Beyond the event itself, the video became a valuable communications tool for both Greenlink and AIB, used to engage stakeholders, demonstrate environmental commitment, and highlight the benefits of cross-border collaboration. The project also underlined Aerial’s one-stop-shop capability — seamlessly delivering aerial filming, ground-based video, photography, audio, and post-production to create a professional, broadcast-quality result from start to finish.
